Garden décor is technically part of outdoor décor, but we decided that garden décor has enough departures from general outdoor décor that it merits its own section. Now to some of you, garden décor is pretty much limited to garden gnomes.

Granted, garden gnomes are very fun examples of garden décor – they add a certain sense of whimsy, especially if you know to place them in unobtrusive places that would make it seem as if they are living in the garden and not simply milling about. But there is actually a lot more you can do for your garden apart from putting in a few garden gnomes.

And garden décor doesn’t have to mean doing some major landscaping work either. Decorating your garden may simply mean adding a few small touches that would accentuate the flowers or plants that are growing in your garden – maybe a driftwood bench or a trellis against the fence.

The key to effective garden décor is simplicity: you wouldn’t want to take the attention away from the actual garden. All you need to do is find the right balance that would enhance and not overwhelm the place.

In this section of the site, we will show you how to do exactly that. We will also be putting up links and galleries, so please check back often.
